Calls for Papers
Conference Season is quickly approaching, and CFPs are in full swing. Here’s a list of interesting CFPs and CFWs related to eLit, and if you haven’t taken a look at the 1st European Computing Research Conference in Paris from April 27- May 4, which features ACM conferences CHI, eAccessibility, Hypertext, Web Science, and GLSVLSI. It promises to be a huge event.
ELO 2013: Chercher le Texte (Paris Sept 24-27): This year ELO will be focusing on the textuality of eLit. Deadline Dec 31. Call for creative work coming soon.
CHI 2013 (Paris April 27-May 2): The general deadline has passed, but CHI is currently accepting submissions for the Student Games Competition. Games should focus on one of the following categories:
- Games for a Purpose
- Innovative Interface
- Innovative Game Design
Deadline for the Games Competition is Jan 9.
Hypertext 2013 (Paris May 1-3): The general deadline has passed, but the Narrative and Hypertext Workshop is currently accepting papers. Deadline Feb 4.
Web Science 2013 (Paris May 2-4): an interesting gather of people interested in behaviors on and around the Web. Deadline Feb 1.
Web Science Fringe: This year, WebSci will feature a fringe festival, which is currently eliciting works in the following areas:
- performance art on, in, or about the Web
- painting, sculpture, or other media that comments on Web phenomena
- interactive drama and hyperdrama, either within or outside the Web
- electronic literature and virtual art
- pioneering web design
- location-aware and location-specific narrative
- augmented reality
- netart
- artistic data visualizations
Deadline for the Fringe is also Feb 1.
